"Meet Muriel the Guide Dog and her pup in training!"
We are delighted to be supporting @guidedogsuk with two new and exclusive collaboration crochet kits, to make Muriel the Labrador and Mini Muriel, both proudly wearing a blue coat finished with a Guide Dogs label which is included in each kit. Every day 250 people in the UK start to lose their sight, and every day, Guide Dogs provides the life-changing services and support for those affected. Together with Guide Dogs we can help people living with sight loss live the life they choose.
The charity is almost entirely funded by donations, and is the world’s largest assistance dog organisation. As world leaders in puppy socialisation and dog training, they are the only organisation to breed and train guide dogs in the UK.
Shop Guide Dog crochet kits containing all the materials and instructions you need as well as a Guide Dogs label to sew to Muriel’s jacket. A minimum of £3 (Standard Kit) or £2 (Mini Kit) will be received by Guide Dogs for the Blind Association as a result of the sale of licensed product under the agreement between the charity and TOFT Limited.
Did you know? The Guide Dogs story started in 1931 with two amazing British pioneers, Muriel Crooke and Rosamund Bond. These remarkable women organised the training of the first four British guide dogs from a humble lock up garage in Wallasey, Merseyside.
