TOFT's 2024 Summer Competition was one of our best yet, and we were overwhelmed with the amount of entries from our enthusiastic customers – thank you to everyone who took part and congratulations to the winners of the 2024 competition!

So what is TOFT's Summer Competition?
The concept began in the summer of 2016 when Kerry Lord released the pattern for a rubber ring and armbands that could fit around an #edsanimals character and the chance to win a yarn bundle with a cracking photo posted on Instagram, which she would select at the end of the holidays. Over the years, the summer holidays fun has continued with a variety of themes including a hermit crab without a home, ladybirds finding their happy places and a snail sending mail, always with the same goal – to spread some joy and have fun with a chance to win some TOFT goodies!

2024's Summer Competition was all about camouflage with Finlay the Pygmy Seahorse, a brand new crochet pattern designed specially for the event. With a mixture of colours to choose from and a brief that asked customers to take a photo of their crocheted project blending into his surroundings, the results were fantastic and it was impossible for Kerry to choose just one entry as the winner.
