Yate the Anglerfish appeared in the menagerie as an instalment of TOFT's Dye Club subscription with an oceanic combination of teal, magenta and burnt orange. The Anglerfish is a deep-sea-dwelling fish with a mouth full of translucent teeth. Only female anglerfish have the distinctive luminous lure, which is in fact a piece of dorsal spine that acts as a fishing pole to tempt prey close enough to eat. Not a pattern for the faint-hearted, this angry looking crochet pattern makes use of intermediate techniques such as splitting rounds and webbing that are perfect for levelling up your skills.

YOU WILL NEED: To complete your crochet animal you will need a few added extras including a 3mm crochet hook, toy stuffing and a wool needle. Find everything you need in our haberdashery section.
MEASUREMENTS: When finished your Anglerfish will be approximately 23cm long from mouth to end of tail.
SKILL LEVEL 3: This kit is more suitable for those with some crochet experience.
