Joining the menagerie for Autumn 2024, Kenny the Crested Porcupine is a surprisingly easy crochet pattern perfect for beginning your journey into that learning the double crochet stitch (and some extra techniques!). Based on the African crested porcupine, which is a nocturnal creature with sharp and sturdy quills that act as protection from predators, this crochet animal is much less spiky than his foraging friends!

YOU WILL NEED: To complete your crochet animal you will need a few added extras including a 3mm crochet hook, toy stuffing and a wool needle. Find everything you need in our haberdashery section.
MEASUREMENTS: When finished your Crested Porcupine will be approximately 31cm tall from feet to top of crest.
