Kerry the Chameleon

Designed for TOFT’s 10th birthday, Kerry the Chameleon was the first ‘non-standard’ pattern that broke away from using the classic pear-shaped body and rounded legs found in all the Edward’s Menagerie designs. Kerry was originally only available alongside one-off hand-dyed TOFT skeins made in conjunction with other independent hand-dyers all across the country and beyond. The success of this project inspired TOFT’s own #edsdyeclub.

This cute crochet project forms part of our Edward's Menagerie collection of amigurumi crochet toys designed by Kerry Lord. This amigurumi crochet animal kit contains our luxurious pure wool DK yarn and an easy-to-follow downloadable pattern with video links for all the techniques.

THIS KIT CONTAINS: 75g of TOFT's luxury DK wool in the colour of your choice. Shown here using Lime.

The crochet pattern is provided digitally in .pdf format. You can download this from a link that will appear in your MY TOFT area and at the bottom of your order confirmation email, which you can save or print at your own convenience.

YOU WILL NEED: 3mm crochet hook, toy stuffing, a wool needle and a length of black thread for the eyes.

DO YOU NEED ALL THE EXTRAS?
You can select to make this a TOFT ‘complete kit' and your choice of yarn will come packaged along with everything you need to complete your project- a printed postcard pattern, 20g of polyester toy stuffing, 3mm crochet hook, wool needle for sewing up and a small black thread to sew on the eyes. This would make a perfect gift for a crochet beginner or someone new to TOFT’s Edward’s Menagerie kits.

VITAL STATS: When finished and in the standing position your DK animal will be approximately 18cm tall and 48cm long from nose to tip of tail.

SKILL LEVEL: 3 – Intermediate.
