Try your hand at a new craft with this Stitch Your Own Bargello Bag!

A great project for using up the oddments and leftovers of yarn from your various TOFT knitting and crochet projects, this blank canvas bag is 100% cotton canvas pre-cut into shape with a built in zip. Free with this product you will receive a .pdf pattern containing all the letters of the alphabet, numbers 0-9, and all the useful punctuation you'll need. Whether you choose to add your name, your favourite phrase or experiment with geometric patterns, the built in zip means you will create a professionally finished pure wool clutch bag. You'll need approximately 100g of TOFT DK to fill in your blank canvas and a skinny wool needle. Choose to convert your clutch bag by adding an additional wrist or cross-body cork strap and we’ll also include the D-rings to sew into position.

Bargello is a type of needlepoint embroidery that uses straight stitches laid in a pattern to create a variety of patterns and motifs. This technique works perfectly with TOFT's DK yarn, which can be used to create striking, geometric patterns.

The Bargello patterns and guide are provided digitally in .pdf format. You can download this from a link that will appear at the bottom of your order confirmation email and in your MY TOFT library. You can log in and re-download the pattern at your convenience.

MEASUREMENTS: When finished your tapestry bag will measure 27.5cm wide x 22cm tall.
