Dudley the Red Grouse

£37.00
Named after the first Earl of Leicester, Dudley the Red Grouse struts into Edward's Menagerie as part of the TOFT Quarterly Autumn 2022 collection. The seasonal issue was shot at Kenilworth Castle, which was granted to Robert Dudley in 1563 and transformed into a magnificent palace. The red grouse itself is a plump bird, whose plumage reflects the reds and oranges of the sandstone that the castle is built from. Usually found on upland heathlands and moorland, this bird is famously associated with an iconic whisky brand and you can now bring him to life in crochet form to enjoy all year round!

TOFT’s Edward’s Menagerie collection is a series of crochet amigurumi toys designed by Kerry Lord. This crochet bird kit contains TOFT’s quality pure wool yarn and an easy-to-follow downloadable pattern. There are video links for all the crochet stitches and techniques used in the pattern to get you started and help you complete your toy.
