First seen in the 2021 TOFT Advent CAL, this attractive and impressive bird involes lots of unique and fun techniques and you can watch all the crochetalong daily technique vidoes on @edscrochetalong should you wish to refer them. This pattern’s classically festive colours make him fit for even the grandest of mantelpieces.

This cute crochet project forms part of our Edward's Menagerie collection of amigurumi crochet toys designed by Kerry Lord. This amigurumi crochet bird kit contains our luxurious pure wool DK yarn and an easy-to-follow downloadable pattern with video links for all the techniques.

THIS KIT CONTAINS: 225g of TOFT's luxury DK pure wool in the following colours:

YOU WILL NEED: To complete your Resplendent Quetzal you will need a few added extras including a 3mm crochet hook, toy stuffing, Black yarn for facial features and a wool needle. Find everything you need in our haberdashery section.

MEASUREMENTS: When finished your bird will be approximately 26cm tall from feet to top of crest.

SKILL LEVEL 3: This kit is more suitable for those with some crochet experience.

IT WILL TAKE: Approximately 10-15 hours crochet time.
