Knitted in our deliciously soft ARAN yarn, this 'tam' is a striking and stylish design. This type of hat falls somewhere between the traditional tam o' shanter military cap and the beret, with the distinctive flat shape that falls to one side as you wear it. A great pattern for beginner knitters, this hat knits up quickly and is a great way to practice your knits and purls while adding a few new techniques into your knitting repertoire.

THIS KIT CONTAINS: 200g of TOFT's luxury pure wool ARAN in the colour of your choice and an optional alpaca Pom Pom.

YOU WILL NEED: To complete your Kentish Tam you will need a few added extras including 5mm and 6mm circular knitting needles, a stitch marker and a wool needle. Find everything you need in our haberdashery section.

SIZE: ADULT - this hat is designed to fit adult head circumference of up to 60cm.

SKILL LEVEL: Beginner - This kit is suitable for beginners.

IT WILL TAKE: Approximately 5-10 hours knitting time.
