TOFT's crochet toadstools first emerged just in time for Halloween in 2023, and now they're here to stay. Based on the classic image of a toadstool, this wondrous crochet pattern is perfect for practising a variety of techniques and levelling up your crochet skills if you're a beginner. We've supersized our favourite toadstool design with this giant crochet pattern, standing at a whopping 33cm tall and perfect for any autumnal themed display.

Designed by Kerry Lord, this crochet pattern uses ARAN yarn with two strands held together to create our CHUNKY weight, meaning you can use colours that aren't available in our largest weight of wool. If you're desperate to crochet this monster toadstool in a colour not available in ARAN, you can also hold four strands of DK together to achieve the same CHUNKY weight!

THIS CROCHET KIT CONTAINS: 440g of TOFT's luxury pure wool yarn in the following colours and yarn for facial features.

YOU WILL NEED: To complete your Giant Cap Toadstool you will need a few added extras including an 8mm crochet hook, toy stuffing and a wool needle. Find everything you need in our haberdashery section.

MEASUREMENTS: When finished your Giant Cap Toadstool will be approximately 33cm tall from bottom of stem to top of cap.

SKILL LEVEL 2: This kit is suitable for enthusiastic beginners or those who have crocheted before.
