Pangolins are known for being the world's most trafficked mammal, and when startled they will roll up into a protective ball in self-defense. One of the all-time favourite designs by Kerry Lord, this unusual crochet pattern is perfect for those who are looking to level up their skills and uses some unique techniques to create the iconic scales on the pangolin's body and legs.

YOU WILL NEED: To complete one of TOFT’s giant animal crochet patterns you will need a few added extras, including an 8mm crochet hook, toy stuffing, black and mushroom yarn for facial features and a wool needle. Go to our recommended section below to get direct links to these products.

MEASUREMENTS: When finished and in the sitting position your giant animal will be approximately 34cm tall. Excluding ears or horns.
