One of the loudest of all the medium-sized parrots, the sun conure is also known as the sun parakeet and stands just a few centimetres taller than TOFT's woolly version. Much quieter than its real-life friends, who are well-know for their harshly loud calls, this crochet pattern will keep you entertained with lots of colour changes and the 'chain spit' technique.

YOU WILL NEED: To complete your crochet bird you will need a few added extras including a 3mm crochet hook, toy stuffing and a wool needle. Find everything you need in our haberdashery section or upgrade to a complete kit which includes all of the above!
MEASUREMENTS: When finished your Sun Conure will be approximately 22cm tall from feet to top of head.
