Phileus the Quagga joined the menagerie as the first ever instalment of TOFT's Conservationists crochet subscription in 2023 and is an easy crochet pattern that is perfect for learning the colourchange technique. The quagga was hunted to extinction towards the end of the 19th century, and is believed to be a subspecies of the zebra.
