This DK pure wool was designed, dyed and spun to accompany the release of the Alexandra's Garden series of crochet plant, flower and vegetable books by Kerry Lord. The colour of this yarn was inspired by its namesake, Heather, an evergreen shrub that is especially popular across Scotland in the UK and symbolises admiration and solitude.
