Originally a member of Ed's Dye Club, Louise the Terrapin was first seen in a hand-dyed combination of teals, greens and greys. Now she is swimming into the menagerie in a brand new set of colours!
Terrapins are reptiles with flat shells that live in fresh water. They have similar legs to tortoises, making them surprisingly good at climbing. Some species can grow up to 60cm and even bite off your finger! Thankfully, TOFT's woolly version won't grow too big and is much more amiable than its real life counterpart.
This cute crochet project forms part of the ever-expanding Edward's Menagerie collection of amigurumi crochet toys designed by Kerry Lord. This amigurumi crochet kit contains our luxurious pure wool DK yarn and an easy-to-follow downloadable pattern with video links for all the techniques.
THIS KIT CONTAINS: 100g of TOFT's luxury DK pure wool in the colours of your choice.
Shown here using:
Colour one: 50g Green
Colour two: 50g Lime
The crochet pattern is provided digitally in .pdf format. You can download this from a link that will appear at the bottom of your order confirmation email and in your MY TOFT library. You can log in and re-download the pattern at your convenience.
