A gorgeous mixture of browns and greys, this woolly version of the red kite bird is easily identified by his distinctive forked tail. Did you know that red kites were much more common in the UK back in medieval times, and have been referenced several times in Shakespeare's plays?

YOU WILL NEED: To complete your Red Kite you will need a few added extras including a 3mm crochet hook, toy stuffing, Black yarn for facial features and a wool needle. Find everything you need in our haberdashery section or upgrade to a complete kit which includes all of the above!
MEASUREMENTS: When finished your Red Kite will be approximately 22cm tall from feet to top of head.
SKILL LEVEL 2: This kit is suitable for enthusiastic beginners or those who have crocheted before.
