First seen in July 2022 as part of TOFT's Ed's Birds Club crochet subscription, Marcos the Spangled Cotinga was a bright addition to the menagerie with pops of colour and interesting features on his wings and head. The smallest of the cotinga species, these birds have distinctive plumage that is reflected perfectly with TOFT's Turquoise DK.
This cute crochet project forms part of our Edward's Menagerie collection of amigurumi crochet toys designed by Kerry Lord. This amigurumi crochet bird kit contains our luxurious pure wool DK yarn and an easy-to-follow downloadable pattern with video links for all the techniques.

YOU WILL NEED: To complete your Spangled Cotinga you will need a few added extras including a 3mm crochet hook, toy stuffing, Black yarn for facial features and a wool needle. Find everything you need in our haberdashery section or upgrade to a complete kit which includes all of the above!
MEASUREMENTS: When finished your bird will be approximately 26cm tall from feet to top of head.
SKILL LEVEL 3: This kit is more suitable for those with some crochet experience.
IT WILL TAKE: Approximately 5-10 hours crochet time.
